Holy Cow! It has been forever since I have posted. Life got totally crazy in there and then I got good and sick for about a week. So, I guess I will just have to post a little bit every day the next few days and get us caught up!
We will start with Christmas! Christmas was wonderful this year! We got to spend Christmas Eve with Barb and Scott. We play this game where we trade/steal presents. It was totally fun this year because there were no little kiddies to get their feelings hurt. Everyone was fighting over this nerf dart gun and a disc shooter thing! We thought Mazie would love the disc shooter. When it was over, I won the nerf gun and Dennise got the disc shooter thing! It rocked. Christmas Day we spent the early morning at Barb and Scott's, the afternoon at Kirby and Robin's, and the evening with my family. Thank you to our families who were so generous and made spening time together so much fun!
Trav and I decided that with doing the home improvement stuff, we would not spend a lot on Christmas! However, we both ended up going over our limit a little bit! I was totally excited to give him a ladder, a Rodizio's gift certificate, and some Havaiannas (Brazilian flip flops). He got me Wii fit, my favorite perfume, and some other things.
And now for the funny story..those of you that know me well, know that I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I love the supsense and surprise...I still get up at the crack of dawn because I am too excited! Trav told me that he was hiding my presents at his mom's. Apparently worried that I would peek, but I would never do that, because it would ruin everything. Well, about a week before Christmas, I went downstairs to gather up some old stuffed animals for the veterinary hospital at school. When I pulled off the animals from his bed that we are storing, a sheet fell. You guessed...I saw my Christmas pretty much! I FELT HORRIBLE! I went to work and told my friend what had happened, practically crying! Terri was laughing...she probably peeks all the time! I kept stewing for the next few days because I felt so terrible. On Christmas Eve, it came out that I had seen something...the Guitar Hero World Tour! When I saw it, I couldn't figure out why Trav had gotten it for me when he was the one who REALY REALLY REALLY wanted it. He was mad when he found out I had peeked, not because I had ruined it, but because if he had known that, then he would have gottten the game out sooner for us, so that we could start playing it. That was our gift from YOU-KNOW-WHO to open on Christmas Eve!
