April Crafting...

Yesterday was our second monthly craft day/night. We decided to do some scrapbooking instead of a wood/metal craft, etc. This was in part due to trying to keep my husband happy....because I wouldn't be going to The Wood Connection and falling in love/wanting everything! However, I will be making a trip down there soon because I have to get some letters for my sister/niece and I need to make a wedding/shower gift. Soo excited!! Also, I am totally behind on my scrapbooking, so we did it so that I can start catching up again and get motivated! I love using my new Cricut Expression makes things so much easier/faster!!

Anyway, back to scrapbooking...Gena and I met up at my house around 1 pm yesterday. We scrapbooked to our hearts content. It worked out great, because at part of our Church's General Conference, the men had to go to priesthood. We were able to scrapbook until about 8:00 and then we met the men at Chili's for dinner. Afterwards, we went and played Guitar Hero. It was lots of fun!

That was the first time in a long time that I have scrapbooked. It was soo much fun! I am really hoping that we can get together and do it more often! I almost got a whole year caught up! And for anyone that knows me...that is HUGE! I am only like 3 years behind! I have to say....I heard about this website, pagemaps.com, from a friend, and I love it! It gives you several layout ideas for each month and there are archives of layouts back to 2004. It is fabulous because you can see an idea and then they show you one that someone has finished. Plus, you still get to put your own tweaks/personality to it!
