I am starting to count calories; I SERIOUSLY struggle with this! It frustrates me because I struggle to measure what I am eating, inputing it (esp. when you have to enter each ingredient/item), especially when Trav just seems to get it and zips right through it. My sister (and some friends, apparently) recommended the sight MyFitnessPal.com. Today was my first full day of counting calories. It was tough but I did it! I am just waiting for Trav to get home from the gym to figure out how to input our dinner (Company Casserole). I know that as I continue to count calories, it will become easier and more automatic. It did make me much more conscious of what I was putting in my mouth today.
This site also records/tracks your exercise, which is good for me because I need to be more accountable for that. I love when you pick your completed exercise, all the options it gives you, SERIOUSLY; wii bowling, wii fit step advanced, walking with a a 15lb weight, etc.Quite proud to say, that I was up at 5:15 and on the treadmill at the gym by 5:45. I thought the gym only opened at 5:30. However, it actually opens at 5:15.
The thing that is most motivating about this website (besides having to actually record everything) is that my sister (or added friends) can see everything that I put in and how I am doing. It 's a great wat to motivate and encourage each other.
