California 2009

Spring Break was April 6th thru April 10th. Trav and I deciced that we wanted to go to California! We took a late flight to California on Friday evening. It was made even later because the airline couldn't decide if we would be able to go due to storms back East causing computer system problems. When we finally landed, we had to wait FOREVER for our luggage. To top it off, when we picked up our rental car, they gave us a MINI-VAN! We had ordered a compact, since there was only two of us. We even walked right past a smaller car, but they wouldn't give it to us! We stayed at my aunt and uncle's house in Simi Valley Friday evening until late Wednesday afternoon. They were so great to let us just hang out. We went to Costco, ate, played games. Werner and Terri also took us to Wood Ranch, my new favorite restaurant.

Mom and Aunt Lori ended up coming down for some of the time we were there. They drove down Grandma, Tante Edith, and 2 cousins from Germany. The relatives from Germany wanted to see California! We went to the beach and the Reagan Library with everyone!

After staying in Simi for a few days, we headed down to Anaheim to spend 3 days in Disneland! I love that place...there is just something about it!

What a fun trip! Thanks Werner and Terri for letting us crash there! We had a great time! Love you guys!
