The last few days I have noticed my beautiful flowers finally starting to bloom. I definitely decided to document it, especially with all of the crazy weather we have been having.
Then, today happens. I wake up to SNOW!!! I can't believe it...ugggh!!
My day only gets better as I walk downstairs. Apparently, a few friendly ants have decided to get warm and make a home in my kitchen! I freaked out!! Needless to say, pest control came and sprayed and I spent 4 hours cleaning every nook and cranny of my kitchen (not that it was really dirty to start with). I also rushed right out to buy ant killer and lysol disinfectant wipes. Ants appear to be gone...for now!
And all this instead of spending the day hanging out with my sister and niece being crafty!!! Oh well....here's to next Tuesday!

If you're out of school and not headed this way, you are in big trouble, Missy. Yeah. Big trouble. Like, maybe, I'll, like, somehow, you know, send the, ugh!, ants your way. I'll give them your address. Yeah...yeah. That's what I'll do. I'll equip them with gas masks and sound the advance. Yeah....
(I am so incredibly scary, aren't I? You know we'd love to see you whenever you get a chance. We miss you guys TONS!!!! Glad to hear the ants are gone. I experienced their patrols when we lived at Dave's Grandpa's house. Nasty little things.)
Yeah, that ant thing sucks!! I completely understand, we've been there!
Thanks again for a great time on Friday! You guys ROCK!
BTW, Brandon is dying to buy Guitar Hero!
Here is the recipe. I grate some onion on the smallest grate of a hand grater. You can put these ingredients in a blender in the order given and then slowly pour the oil in last and it should blend enough for you to have the dressing not seperate. I also don't all onion juice since the onlion is strong enough ans just normal mustard :)
LION HOUSE POPPY SEED DRESSING
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. onion juice
1/3 c cider vinegar
1 c. canola oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
Blend together in order given. Enjoy!

Jacque love your new background. Haven't been on for awhile. Looks like you have added lots to the blog since I last looked. Have fun in texas, had no idea you guys were gonna do that. Sounds like a blast! See you in a few weeks for another crafting session. I'm going to miss that a ton. You guys promise to come and visit and bring me crafts to do in NY?
I love spring...except for I don't have any beautiful flowers to watch bloom, just weeds. So I am glad you put pictures of them on your blog.
